A Gathering for Prayer
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42).
On a bright and joyful Sunday morning, July 17, 2016, the Chaldean faithful gathered at a house in El Cajon, California to pray together with Fr. Noel Gorgis, a Chaldean Catholic priest who was invited there to celebrate mass, practicing his full l priestly duties by serving the faithful who wish to gather for prayer at their homes.
This traditional style of prayer is a common devotion by the faithful of the early church who had devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship and to the braking of bread and to prayer (Acts 2:42).
