When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod,* behold, Magi from the East arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.” (Matthew 2:2).
On this glorious occasion of Christmas, Feast of the Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, all the administrative staff at kaldaya.me, the Voice of Truth, would like to extend our sincere wishes to you for a blessed time full of joy and Hope throughout all the feasts and celebrations of Christmas.
As the Magi were overjoyed at seeing the star, so are we, Chaldeans, as a nation, are truly blessed to be from the first ones who saw the shining light of the star, believed in it, followed it and continue until this day to stay faithful toward God’s promise to our father, Abraham, as in the Virgin Mary’s Magnificent: “according to His promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever”. (Luke 1:55)
Let’s rejoice and be faithful to God’s covenant to us, and glorify the Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ who came to the world to save mankind from the slavery of sin.
