أهمية اسم الكلدان في الكتاب المقدس ودلالته

يأتي ذكر اسم الكلدان في الكتاب المقدس من أكثر أسماء الشعوب بعد الشعب اليهودي. ومن الجدير بالذكر انه في بعض الآيات يأتي وصفه قاسياً كما هو ايضاً مع الشعب اليهودي.

ملاحظة:

في كثير من الترجمات (وهي حملة ضد الكلدان) استبدل اسم الكلدان بالبابليين، يرجى مراعاة الحذر في استبداله بتمييز الفرق الشاسع بين الاثنين: اسم الكلدان يدل ويشمل عن حضارة تعود الى أُمة، اما اسم البابليين فيدل ومحصور في منطقة جغرافية معينة.

11: 28 Haran died before his father Terah, in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans.	11: 28 تارح ولد أبرام وناحور وهاران، وهاران ولد لوطا. ومات هاران قبل أبيه تارح في مسقط رأسه أور الكلدانيين.
11: 31 Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot, son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and brought them out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to go to the land of Canaan. But when they reached Haran, they settled there.	31:11 وأخذ تارح أبرام أبنه، ولوط بن هاران آبن ابنه، وساراي كنته، امرأة أبرام ابنه، فخرج بهم من أور الكلدانيين، ليذهبوا إلى أرض كنعان. فجاءوا إلى حاران وأقاموا هناك.
15:7 He then said to him, “I am the LORD who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as a possession.”	7:15 وقال له: ((أنا الرب الذي أخرجك من أور الكلدانيين لأعطيك هذه الأرض ميراثا لك))

24:2 The LORD loosed against him bands of Chaldeans, Arameans, Moabites, and Ammonites; he loosed them against Judah to destroy it, as the LORD had threatened through his servants the prophets.	2:24 فأرسل الرب عليه غزاة الكلدانيين وغزاة أرام وغزاة موآب وغزاة بني عمون، أرسلهم على يهوذا ليبيده، على حسب قول الرب الذي تكلم به على ألسنة عبيده الأنبياء.

25:4 The city walls were breached. Then the king and all the soldiers left the city by night through the gate between the two walls which was near the king’s garden. Since the Chaldeans had the city surrounded, they went in the direction of the Arabah.	25: 4 فثغروا المدينة، وكان جميع رجال الحرب ليلا في طريق الباب الذي بين السورين، بالقرب من بستان الملك، بينما كان الكلدانيون يحيطون بالمدينة. وفي أثناء ذلك، ذهب الملك في طريق العربة .
25:5 But the Chaldean army pursued the king and overtook him in the desert near Jericho, abandoned by his whole army.	25: 5 فجرى جيش الكلدانيين في إثره، فأدركوه في برية أريحا، وقد تفرق عنه كل جيشه.
25: 10 Then the Chaldean troops who were with the captain of the guard tore down the walls that surrounded Jerusalem.	25 :10 وهدم كل جيش الكلدانيين الذين مع رئيس الحرس أسوار أورشليم مما حولها.
25:13 The bronze pillars that belonged to the house of the LORD, and the wheeled carts and the bronze sea in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke into pieces; they carried away the bronze to Babylon.	25 :13 وحطم الكلدانيون أعمدة النحاس التي في بيت الرب والقواعد وبحر النحاس الذي في بيت الرب، وحملوا نحاسها إلى بابل
25: 24 Gedaliah gave the commanders and their men his oath. “Do not be afraid of the Chaldean officials,” he said to them. “Remain in the country and serve the king of Babylon and all will be well with you.”	25 :24 فحلف جدليا لهم ولرجالهم وقال لهم: ((لا تخافوا من عبودية الكلدانئين. أسكنوا في هذه الأرض وأخدموا ملك بابل، فيكون لكم خير)).
25:25 But in the seventh month Ishmael, son of Nethaniah, son of Elishama, of royal descent, came with ten men, attacked Gedaliah and killed him, along with the Jews and Chaldeans who were in Mizpah with him.	25 :25 وفي الشهر السابع، جاء إسماعيل بن نتنيا بن أليشاماع، من النسل الملكي، وعشرة رجال معه وضربوا جدليا فمات، وضربوا اليهود والكلدانيين الذين معه في المصفاة.
25:26 Then all the people, great and small, left with the army commanders and went to Egypt for fear of the Chaldeans.	25 :26 فقام كل الشعب من الصغير إلى الكبير، وقواد الجيوش، وذهبوا إلى مصر، لأنهم خافوا من وجه الكلدانيين.

36:17 Then he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men in their own sanctuary building, sparing neither young man nor maiden, neither the aged nor the decrepit; he delivered all of them over into his grip.	36 :17 فأصعد الرب عليهم ملك الكلدانيين ، فقتل فتيانهم بالسيف في بيت مقدسهم، ولم يشفق على فتى أو عذراء، ولا على شيخ أو أشيب، بل أسلم الجميع إلى يده.

5: 12 But because our fathers provoked the wrath of the God of heaven, he delivered them into the power of the Chaldean, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, who destroyed this house and led the people captive to Babylon.	5: 12 ولكن، بعد أن أسخط آباؤنا إله السموات، أسلمهم إلى يد نبوكدنصر، ملك بابل، الكلداني الذي هدم هذا البيت وجلا الشعب إلى بابل.

1: 17 While he was yet speaking, another came and said, “The Chaldeans formed three columns, seized the camels, carried them off, and put those tending them to the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”	1: 17 وبينما هو يتكلم، أقبل آخر فقال: ((قد توزع الكلدانيون إلى ثلاث فرق، وأغاروا على الإبل فأخذوها، وقتلوا الخدم بحد السيف، وأفلت أنا وحدي لأخبرك((.

13:19 And Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory and pride of the Chaldeans, Shall be overthrown by God like Sodom and like Gomorrah.	13: 19 فبابل زينة الممالك وبهاء فخر الكلدانيين تصير كسدوم وعمورة اللتين قلبهما الله
23: 13 (This people is the land of the Chaldeans, not Assyria.) She whom the impious founded, setting up towers for her, Has had her castles destroyed, and has been turned into a ruin.	23: 13 ها هي ذي أرض الكلدانيين الشعب الذي لم يكن فأسسها أشور لوحوش القفار. قد أقاموا بروجهم دمروا قصورها فجعلت خرابا.
43:14 Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sakes I send to Babylon; I will lower all the bars, and the Chaldeans shall cry out in lamentation.	43: 14 هكذا قال الرب فاديكم قدوس إسرائيل: لأجلكم أرسلت حملة على بابل وسأهبطهم جميعا فيهربون حتى الكلدانيين في سفن هتافهم.
47:1 Come down, sit in the dust, O virgin daughter Babylon; Sit on the ground, dethroned, O daughter of the Chaldeans. No longer shall you be called dainty and delicate.	47: 1 إنزلي وآقعدي على التراب أيتها البكر بنت بابل أقعدي على الأرض فإنه لا عرش لك يا بنت الكلدانيين ولا تدعين من بعد ناعمة مترفة.
47:5 Go into darkness and sit in silence, O daughter of the Chaldeans; No longer shall you be called sovereign mistress of kingdoms.	47: 5 أقعدي صامتة وآدخلي في الظلام يا بنت الكلدانيين فإنك لا تدعين سيدة الممالك من بعد.

21:4 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: I will turn back in your hands the weapons with which you intend to fight the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the walls. These weapons I will pile up in the midst of this city,	21: 4 هكذا قال الرب، إله إسرائيل: هاءنذا أرد آلات الحرب التي بأيديكم والتي تحاربون بها ملك بابل والكلدانيين المضيقين عليكم من خارج السور، وأجمعها في وسط هذه المدينة،
21:9 Whoever remains in this city shall die by the sword or famine or pestilence. But whoever leaves and surrenders to the besieging Chaldeans shall live and have his life as booty.	21: 9 فالذي يقيم في هذه المدينة يموت بالسيف والجوع والطاعون، والذي يخرج ويلجأ إلى الكلدانيين المضيقين عليكم يحيا وتكون له نفسه غنيمة.
22:25 I will deliver you into the hands of those who seek your life; the hands of those whom you fear; the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and the Chaldeans.	22: 25 سأسلمك إلى أيدي طالبي نفسك وأيدي الذين تفزع من وجوههم، وإلى يد نبوكد نصر، ملك بابل، وأيدي الكلدانيين،
24:5 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, even so will I regard with favor Judah’s exiles whom I sent away from this place into the land of the Chaldeans.	24: 5 هكذا قال الرب، إله إسرائيل: مثل هذا التين الطيب أجعل نظري إلى مجلوي يهوذا الذين أرسلتهم من هذا المكان إلى أرض الكلدانيين لخيرهم،
25:12 But when the seventy years have elapsed, I will punish the king of Babylon and the nation and the land of the Chaldeans for their guilt, says the LORD. Their land I will turn into everlasting desert.	25: 12 (وعند انقضاء السبعين سنة، أفتقد ملك بابل وتلك الأمة، يقول الرب، بسبب إثمهم، وأرض الكلدانيين، وأجعلها دمارا أبديا (
32: 4 Neither shall Zedekiah, king of Judah, escape the hands of the Chaldeans; rather shall he be handed over to the king of Babylon. They shall meet and speak face to face,	32: 4 وصدقيا، ملك يهوذا، لا يفلت من أيدي الكلدانيين، بل يسلم إلى يد ملك بابل، ويخاطبه فما إلى فم، وعيناه تنظران عينيه،
32:5 and Zedekiah shall be taken to Babylon. There he shall remain, until I attend to him, says the LORD; in fighting the Chaldeans, you cannot win.	32 :5 ويذهب بصدقيا إلى بابل، فيكون هناك إلى أن أفتقده، يقول الرب: (وإن حاربتم الكلدانيين، فإنكم لا تنجحون)
32:24 See, the siege works have arrived at this city to breach it; the city will be handed over to the Chaldeans who are attacking it, amid sword, famine, and pestilence. What you threatened has happened, you see it yourself;	32: 24 ها إن المتارس قد بلغت إلى المدينة لأخذها، والمدينة تسلم إلى أيدي الكلدانيين محاربيها بالسيف والجوع والطاعون، وما تكلمت به قد وقع وها أنت تراه.
32:25 and yet you tell me, O Lord GOD: Buy the field with money, call in witnesses. But the city has already been handed over to the Chaldeans!	32: 25 وقد قلت لي، أيها السيد الرب: اشتر الحقل بالفضة، وأشهد شهودا، والمدينة أسلمت إلى أيدي الكلدانيين
32:28 This now is what the LORD says: I will hand over this city to the Chaldeans, for Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, to take.	32: 28 فلذلك هكذا قال الرب: هاءنذا أسلم هذه المدينة إلى أيدي الكلدانيين وإلى يد نبوكد نصر، ملك بابل، فيأخذها،
32:29 The Chaldeans who are attacking it shall enter this city and set fire to it, burning it and its houses, on the roofs of which incense was burned to Baal and libations were poured out to strange gods as a provocation to me.	32: 29 ويدخل الكلدانيون، محاربو هذه المدينة، ويضرمون هذه المدينة بالنار، ويحرقونها هي وبيوتها التي أحرقوا البخور على سطوحها للبعل وسكبوا سكبا لآلهة أخرى ليسخطوني.
32:43 Fields shall again be bought in this land, which you call a desert, without man or beast, handed over to the Chaldeans.	32: 43 فتشترى حقول في هذه الأرض التي أنتم قائلون (إنها مقفرة لا بشر فيها ولا بهائم، وأسلمت إلى أيدي الكلدانيين)
33:5 Men come to battle the Chaldeans, and these houses will be filled with the corpses of those whom I slay in my anger and wrath, when I hide my face from this city for all their wickedness.	33: 5 وعلى الماضين إلى محاربة الكلدانيين، ليملأوا المدينة من جثث البشر الذين ضربتهم في غضبي وسخطي وحجبت وجهي عن هذه المدينة بسبب كل شرهم.
35:11 But when Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, invaded this land, we decided to come into Jerusalem to escape the army of the Chaldeans and the army of Aram; that is why we are now living in Jerusalem.”	35: 11 فلما صعد نبوكد نصر، ملك بابل، إلى تلك الأرض، قلنا: هلموا ندخل أورشليم من وجه جيش الكلدانيين ومن وجه جيش أرام، فسكنا في أورشليم
37:5 Also, Pharaoh’s army had set out from Egypt, and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard this report they marched away from the city.	37: 5 وكان جيش فرعون قد خرج من مصر، فسمع الكلدانيون المحاصرون لأورشليم بخبرهم، فآنصرفوا عن أورشليم.
37:8 The Chaldeans shall return to the fight against this city; they shall capture it and destroy it with fire.	37: 8 والكلدانيين يرجعون ويحاربون هذه المدينة ويأخذونها ويرقونها بالنار.
37:9 Thus says the LORD: Do not deceive yourselves with the thought that the Chaldeans will leave you for good, because they shall not leave!	37: 9 هكذا قال الرب: لا تخدعوا أنفسكم قائلين: إن الكلدانيين سيذهبون عنا، فإنهم لا يذهبون.
37:10 Even if you were to defeat the whole Chaldean army now attacking you, and only the wounded remained, each in his tent, these would rise up and destroy the city with fire.	37:10 فإنه، وإن قتلتم كل جيش الكلدانيين الذين يحاربونكم وبقي منهم رجال قد طعنوا، هؤلاء يقومون، كل واحد في خيمته، ويحرقون هذه المدينة بالنار. اعتقال إرميا. تحسين أوضاعه
37:11 When the Chaldean army lifted the siege of Jerusalem at the threat of the army of Pharaoh,	37:11 ولما آنصرف جيش الكلدانيين عن أورشليم بسبب جيش فرعون،
37:13 But when he reached the Gate of Benjamin, he met the captain of the guard, a man named Irijah, son of Shelemiah, son of Hananiah; he seized the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “You are deserting to the Chaldeans!”	37: 13 فلما وصل إلى باب بنيامين، كان هناك رئيس المحرس، وآسمه يرئيا بن شلميا بن حننيا. فقبض على إرميا النبي قائلا: (( أنت هارب إلى الكلدانيين.
37:14 “That is a lie!” Jeremiah answered, “I am not deserting to the Chaldeans.” Without listening, Irijah kept Jeremiah in custody and brought him to the princes.	37: 14 فقال إرميا: (( كذب! لست هاربا إلى الكلدانيين )). فلم يسمع له يرئيا وقبض عليه وأتى به إلى الرؤساء.
38:2 Thus says the LORD: He who remains in this city shall die by sword, or famine, or pestilence; but he who goes out to the Chaldeans shall live; his life shall be spared him as booty, and he shall live.	38: 2 هكذا قال الرب: إن الذي يبقى في هذه المدينة يموت بالسيف والجوع والطاعون، والذي يخرج إلى الكلدانيين يحيا وتكون له نفسه غنيمة فيحيا.
38:18 But if you do not surrender to the princes of Babylon’s king, this city shall fall into the hands of the Chaldeans, who shall destroy it with fire, and you shall not escape their hands.	38: 18 ولكن إن لم تسلم نفسك إلى رؤساء ملك بابل، فهذه المدينة تسلم إلى أيدي الكلدانيين فيحرقونها بالنار، وأنت لا تفلت من أيديهم
38:19 King Zedekiah, however, said to Jeremiah, “I am afraid of the men of Judah who have deserted to the Chaldeans; I may be handed over to them, and they will mistreat me.”	38:19 فقال الملك صدقيا لإرميا: (( إنى أخاف من اليهود الذين هربوا إلى الكلدانيين، فلقد أسلم إلى أيديهم فيسخروا مني.
38:23 All your wives and sons shall be led forth to the Chaldeans and you shall not escape their hands; you shall be handed over to the king of Babylon, and this city shall be destroyed with fire.	38: 23 وجميع نسائك وبنوك يخرجون إلى الكلدانيين، وأنت لا تفلت من أيديهم، بل تؤخذ بيد ملك بابل، وهذه المدينة تحرق بالنار
39: 5 but the Chaldean army pursued them, and overtook and captured Zedekiah in the desert near Jericho. He was brought to Riblah, in the land of Hamath, where Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, pronounced sentence upon him.	39: 5 فجرى جيش الكلدانيين في إثرهم، فأدركوا صدقيا في برية أريحا، فأخذوه وأصعدوه إلى نبوكدنصر، ملك بابل، في ربلة بأرض حماة، فتلا عليه الحكم
39:8 The Chaldeans set fire to the king’s palace and the houses of the people, and demolished the walls of Jerusalem.	39: 8 وأحرق الكلدانيون بيت الملك وبيوت الشعب بالنار، وهدموا أسوار أورشليم،
40: 9 Gedaliah, son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, adjured them and their men not to be afraid to serve the Chaldeans: to stay in the land and submit to the king of Babylon, for their own welfare;	40: 9 فحلف جدليا بن أحيقام بن شافان لهم ولرجالهم قائلا: ((لا تخافوا من خدمة الكلدانيين. أسكنوا في هذه الأرض وآخدموا ملك بابل، فيكون لكم خير.))
40: 10 saying that he himself would remain in Mizpah, as their intermediary with the Chaldeans who should come to them. They were to collect the wine, the fruit, and the oil, to store them in jars, and to settle in the cities they occupied.	40:10 هاءنذا ساكن في المصفاة لأقف أمام الكلدانيين الذين يأتون إلينا. أما أنتم فاستغلوا الخمر والفواكه والزيت، وضعوها في آنيتكم، وآسكنوا في مدنكم التي أخذتموها
41:3 Ishmael also slew all the men of Judah of military age who were with Gedaliah and the Chaldean soldiers who were there.	41: 3 وضرب إسماعيل جميع اليهود الذين كانوا معه، أي مع جدليا في المصفاة، والكلدانيين الذين وجدوا هناك وكانوا رجال حرب.
41:18 They were afraid of the Chaldeans, because Ishmael, son of Nethaniah, had slain Gedaliah, son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had made ruler in the land of Judah.	41: 18 من وجه الكلدانيين، لأنهم خافوا منهم بسبب قتل إسماعيل بن نتنيا لجدليا بن أحيقام الذي ولاه ملك بابل على كل تلك الأرض.
43:3 It is Baruch, son of Neriah, who stirs you up against us, to hand us over to the Chaldeans to be killed or exiled to Babylon.	43: 3 وإنما حرضك باروك بن نيريا علينا لنسلم إلى أيدي الكلدانيين ونقتل ونجلى إلى بابل
50:1 The word which the LORD spoke against Babylon, against the land of the Chaldeans, through the prophet Jeremiah:	50: 1 الكلمة التي تكلم بها الرب على بابل وعلى أرض الكلدانيين، على لسان إرميا النبي
50:8 Flee from Babylon, leave the land of the Chaldeans, be like the rams at the head of the flock.	50: 8 أهربوا من وسط بابل ومن أرض الكلدانيين آخرجوا كونوا كالتيوس على رأس القطيع
50:25 The LORD opens his armory and brings forth the weapons of his wrath; For the Lord GOD of hosts has work to do in the land of the Chaldeans.	50: 10 فتصير أرض الكلدانيين سلبا وجميع سالبيها يشبعون، يقول الرب.
50:35 A sword upon the Chaldeans, says the LORD, upon Babylon’s people, her princes and wise men!	50: 35 السيف على الكلدانيين، يقول الرب وعلى سكان بابل وعلى رؤسائها وعلى حكمائها.
50: 45 Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD which he has taken against Babylon; Hear the plans he has made against the land of the Chaldeans: They shall be dragged away, even the smallest sheep; their own pasture shall be aghast because of them.	50: 45 لذلك آسمعوا تدبير الرب الذي نواه على بابل والأفكار التي فكر فيها على أرض الكلدانيين. إن صغار الغنم نفسها تجر والمرعى يدهش من ذلك.
^{51: 4} In the country of the Chaldeans the slaughtered will fall, in the streets of Babylon, those run through by the sword.	51: 4 يسقط قتلى في أرض الكلدانيين ومطعونون في شوارعها.
51:5 For Israel and Judah are not widowed of their God, the LORD of hosts, And the Chaldean land is full of guilt to be punished by the Holy One of Israel.
^{51: 4} In the country of the Chaldeans the slaughtered will fall, in the streets of Babylon, those run through by the sword.	51: 24 فإني أجازي بابل وجميع سكان أرض الكلدانيين بكل شرهم الذي صنعوه بصهيون أمام عيونكم، يقول الرب.

51:54 Hear! loud cries from Babylon, dire destruction from the land of the Chaldeans;	51: 45 صوت صراخ من بابل وتحطيم عظيم من أرض الكلدانيين
52:7 the city walls were breached. Then all the soldiers took to flight and left the city by night through the gate between the two walls which was near the king’s garden. 52:14 And the Chaldean troops who were with the captain of the guard tore down all the walls that surrounded Jerusalem	52: 14 وهدم كل جيش الكلدانيين الذين مع رئيس الحرس جميع أسوار أورشليم مما حولها.
52:17 The bronze pillars that belonged to the house of the LORD, and the wheeled carts and the bronze sea in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke into pieces; they carried away all the bronze to Babylon.	52: 17 وحطم الكلدانيون أعمدة النحاس التي في بيت الرب والقواعد وبحر النحاس الذي في بيت الرب، وحملوا كل نحاسها إلى بابل.
Baruch	سِفْرُ بَارُوك
1: 2 in the fifth year (on the seventh day of the month, at the time when the Chaldeans took Jerusalem and burnt it with fire).	1: 2 في السنة الخامسة في السابع من الشهر، في الوقت الذي أخذ فيه الكلدانيون أورشليم وأحرقوها بالنار.
6: 40 Even the Chaldeans themselves have no respect for them; for when they see a deaf mute, incapable of speech, they bring forward Bel and ask the god to make noise, as though the man could understand;	6: 40 بل الكلدانيون أنفسهم يزدرونها. فإنهم، إذا رأوا أخرس لا يستطيع الكلام، يقدمونه إلى بال، ويطلبون أن يتكلم الأخرس، كما لو كان الإله يستطيع الإدراك.

1: 3 the word of the LORD came to the priest Ezekiel, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar.–There the hand of the LORD came upon me.	1: 3 كانت كلمة الرب إلى حزقيال بن بوزي الكاهن، في أرض الكلدانيين، على نهر كبار، وكانت عليه هناك يد الرب .
12: 13 But I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon, into the land of the Chaldeans–but he shall not see it–and there he shall die.	12: 13 وأبسط شبكتي عليه فيؤخذ في أحبولتي، وآتي به إلى بابل، إلى أرض الكلدانيين ولا يراها ويموت هناك.
23: 14 yet she went further in her harlotry. When she saw men drawn on the wall, the images of Chaldeans drawn with vermillion,	23: 14 لكنها زادت على فواحشها. فإنها رأت رجالا منقوشين على الحائط، صور كلدانيين ملونة بالقرمز

1: 4 young men without any defect, handsome, intelligent and wise, quick to learn, and prudent in judgment, such as could take their place in the king’s palace; they were to be taught the language and literature of the Chaldeans;	1: 4 فتيانا لا عيب فيهم حسان المنظر، يعقلون كل حكمة ويدركون العلم ويفقهون المعرفة، ممن يكونون أهلا للوقوف في قصر الملك ولتعلم أدب الكلدانيين ولسانهم.
2: 2 So he ordered that the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and Chaldeans be summoned to interpret the dream for him. When they came and presented themselves to the king,	2: 2 فأمر الملك أن يدعى السحرة والعرافون والرقاة والكلدانيون ليبينوا للملك أحلامه. فأتوا ووقفوا أمام الملك.
2: 4 The Chaldeans answered the king (Aramaic): “O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream and we will give its meaning.”	2: 4 فأجاب الكلدانيون الملك (بالآرامية): ((أيها الملك، حييت للأبد. أخبر عبيدك بالحلم، فنبين تفسيره))
2: 5 The king answered the Chaldeans, “This is what I have decided: unless you tell me the dream and its meaning, you shall be cut to pieces and your houses destroyed.	2: 5 فأجاب الملك وقال للكلدانيين: (( لقد قررت أنكم، إن لم تعلموني بالحلم وتفسيره، تقطعون قطعا وتحول بيوتكم إلى أوحال)).
2: 10 The Chaldeans answered the king: “There is not a man on earth who can do what you ask, O king; never has any king, however great and mighty, asked such a thing of any magician, enchanter, or Chaldean.	2: 10 فأجاب الكلدانيون أمام الملك وقالوا: (( ليس على الأرض إنسان يستطيع أن يبين أمر الملك، وما من ملك عظيم ذي سلطان سأل ساحرا أو عرافا أو كلدانيا عن أمر مثل هذا.
3: 8 At that point, some of the Chaldeans came and accused the Jews	3: 8 حينئذ تقدم رجال كلدانيون ووشوا باليهود،
3: 48 and spread out, burning the Chaldeans nearby.	3: 48 وآنتشر وأحرق الذين صادفهم حول الأتون من الكلدانيين.
4: 4 When the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers had come in, I related the dream before them; but none of them could tell me its meaning.	4: 4 فحضر السحرة والعرافون والكلدنيون والمنجمون، فرويت حلمي أمامهم، فلم يعلموني تفسيره.
5: 7 The king shouted for the enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers to be brought in. “Whoever reads this writing and tells me what it means,” he said to the wise men of Babylon, “shall be clothed in purple, wear a golden collar about his neck, and be third in the government of the kingdom.”	5: 7 وصرخ الملك بصوت شديد أن يدخلوا العرافين والكلدانيين والمنجمين، وتكلم الملك وقال لحكماء بابل: (( كل من يقرأ هذه الكتابة ويبين تفسيرها يلبس الأرجوان، ويتقلد طوق ذهب في عنقه، ويكون الثالث في سلطان المملكة))
5: 11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy God; during the lifetime of your father he was seen to have brilliant knowledge and god-like wisdom. In fact, King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, made him chief of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers,	5: 11 إن في مملكتك رجلا فيه روح الآلهة القدوسين، وفي أيام أبيك وجد فيه نور وفهم وحكمة كحكمة الآلهة. وقد أقامه الملك نبوكد نصر أبوك رئيس السحرة والعرافين والكلدانيين والمنجمين،
5: 30 The same night Belshazzar, the Chaldean king, was slain:	5: 30 وفي تلك الليلة، قتل بلشصر، ملك الكلدانيين.
